Khamoshi- the Musical was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the year 1996.
 
The movie stars Nana Patekar, Salman Khan, Manisha Koirala, Seema Biswas and Helen, and marks Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial debut. This old hindi bollywood faced a tragedy, it won several nominations and awards but was poorly beaten at the Box Office.
 
But songs of the movie are good and pleasant. They are given by Jatin Lalit. Songs are sung by Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu with many supporting singers.
Songs like Bahon ke Darmiyan, Jaana suno hum tumpe marte hain, Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai are extremely touching in the film
