Tezaab was directed by N. Chandra in the year 1988.


The movie stars Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Chunky Pandey, Mandakini, Kiran Kumar and Suresh Oberoi.The movie was the biggest hit of the year 1988. Madhuri Dixit got her first big break due to this movie. Chemistry between Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit is awesome. Anil Kapoor won the Film Fare Best Actor Award for this movie.

Music of the movie is given by  Laxmikant Pyarelal. Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal  and Amit Kumar have sung the songs for the movie.The songs,” Ek Do teen” and ” So gaya Ye Jahan ” are very popular.
