Tridev was directed by Rajiv Rai in the year 1989.

The movie stars Naseeruddin Shah, Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Sonam, Sangeeta Bijlani, Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri.The movie highlights three heroes fighting for justice in Mumbai.Karan (Sunny Deol) is a brave and honest police inspector who causes problems for the criminals in Mumbai, including Bhujang (Amrish Puri).One of the lawbreakers in Madhavpur is Jay Singh (Naseeruddin Shah), who is a charming but reckless villager always ready to fight for the oppressed.And third is Ravi ( Jackie Shroff), son of Mumbai Police Commissioner.All three fight against Bhujang.

The story is nice, patriotic and leaves a message, to unite and work together against injustice. The movie was quite popular and average at Box Office but won many awards.

Music is given by Kalyanji-Anandji. Songs are are nice and pleasant.
