Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam was directed by Abrar Alvi  and produced by Guru Dutt in the year 1962.


The movie stars Guru Dutt, Rehman, Meena Kumari, Waheeda Rehman and Nasir Hussain.The film was a major critical and commercial success, with critics attributing it to Meena Kumari’s performance as Chhoti Bahu, which is regarded as one of the best performances of Hindi Cinema.The film’s story is taken from a novel, but shooted fantastically.The film was very popular and won several awards and nominations.


Music is traditional and is nice. It is given by Hemant Kumar. Songs are sung by Geeta Dutt, Asha Bhosle and Meena Kumari.
