Anaam was directed by Ramesh Modi in the year 1992.


Star Cast:

Movie stars Armaan Kholi and Ayesha Jhulka in lead roles. Other supporting star cast includes Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Laxmikant Berde, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Kiran Kumar, Tej Sapru, Ajit Vachchani, Anjana Mumtaz, Yunus Parvez, Subbiraj, Mushtaq Khan, Reshma Singh, Anant Mahadevan, Aroon Bakshi, Mohd Aslam and Gavin Packard.



Movie Review:

The movie Anaam is a romantic thriller which comes with an ordinary story that totally confusing, the script of the story is just taken as bits and pieces from here and there. There is nothing special about the movie. The story of the movie revolves around the life of Angre ( Sadashiv Amrapurkar ), an honest police inspector who places his duty above his personal life. One day an unclaimed fiat car was found stranded in front of the hotel Blue Ribbon Hotel. Soon it was found out that car belonged to Ghanshyamdas Gupta now the case comes in the hands of inspector Angre to find out the thief who stole it.

As the investigation was going on Ghanshyamdas Gupta was found admitted in a hospital and it was believed that he lost his memory. One day inspector found out that the thief was none other that but his own son Sikandar ( Armaan Kohli ). Sikander and his companion Roopesh ( Anant Mahadevan ) were free around the city. Soon Angre found out that Sikander is not a rich person but a very smart thief Johny K. D’Souza who hails from Pune and is involved in many robberies before. Investigation also leads to a murder which involved Johny’s wife who was murdered by Johny himself. What happens next? This makes the movie more interesting.

Overall, the movie is good and enjoyable.It was average at the Box office and is worth to set for weekend.


Music And Singers:

Music of the movie is composed by one of the famous duo Nadeem Saifee and Shravan Kumar who rocked it.Songs are sung in beautiful voices of Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sadhana Sargam and Sarika Kapoor.
