Silsila was directed by Yash Chopra in the year 1981.

The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor in special appearance, Jaya Bhaduri, Sanjeev Kumar and Rekha.The story is tragedic with spice of emotional touch.The movie takes many turns which keeps your interest keen.Overall, the story is of love lost and found, but twisted by society’s demands and conventions to appear as adultery.
The movie’s music is given by Hariprasad Chaurasia and Shiv Kumar Sharma. Songs are also nice and pleasant.
