Anu Agarwal is model and film actress. She did films in various languages including Hindi, Tamil and Assamese. Anu made her debut in the Indian film Industry with the film Aashiqui released in the year 1990. Aashiqui was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and was a hit at the Box Office. Anu Agarwal gained fame and wide appreciation from the film. Some of her other popular movies are Tamil movie Thiruda Thiruda (1993) and The Cloud Door (1995).

Anu Agarwal had a fatal accident in the year 1999 from which she recovered after a 29 days coma.

Anu Agarwal was born in Malka Ganj, Delhi on 11 January, 1969. She studied Sociology in Delhi University and was pretty good at studies. She was a gold medalist in Sociology. After struggling as a model and Video Jockey, She finally entered Bollywood with her first block buster film Aashiqui. And she did many other films after that.
