Antara Biswas is a Bhojpuri film actress. She is also popular with the name Monalisa. She has done more than 50 Bhojpuri films and is popular in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Se has also appeared in some of Hindi, Oriya, Telugu and Tamil movies. She made her debut in film Industry with the film Jayate released in 1997. She was a child artist as she was of 15 only. Later, her first Bhojpuri film Bhole Sankar was released in the year 2008.

Antara Biswas was born to a Bengali family on 21 October, 1982 in West Bengal. She has pursued her graduation in Sanskrit earning a BA degree. In 2010, The Hindu reported that she was the among the most demanded actress in Bhojpuri Film Industry.
