Amrita Arora Biography

Amrita Arora is a model and a Bollywood actress. She is mostly known for her role of Mona in the film Awaara Paagal Deewana which was released in the year 2002. This movie a super hit at the Box Office and was a commercial success. Amrita arora got significant recognition from this film. And this was her second film. She  made her debut in Bollywood film Industry with the film Kitne Door Kitne Paas which was also released in the year 2002. After Awaara Pagaal Deewana her films didn’t did well and she had to play a lesbian in movie Girlfriend released in 2004. But after Girlfriend, her career began to move up and she appeared in many hit films like Hey Babyy, Om Shanti Om, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Fight Club etc.

Amrita Arora was born on 31 January, 1981 in Chembur, Mumbai. Her parents were from two very different regions. Her father Anil Arora was Punjabi and her mother Joyce Polycarp was Malyali. She has one sister, Malaika Arora Khan who has also made a significant influence to Bollywood. Amrita Arora is married to a businessman Shakeel Ladak and has two sons Rayaan and Azaan.
