Amisha Patel Biography

Amisha Patel is a model and Indian film actress. She is mostly known for her first film i.e her debut film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai released in the year 2000. She played the character of Sonia Saxena in the movie against Hrithik Roshan. Kaho Na Pyar Hai was a blockbuster and Amisha Patel received a wide appreciation for her act in the movie. But it wasn’t enough, the next year in 2001 another movie Gadar – Ek Prem Katha was released which is among the top hit Hindi films of the decade. After that she did many other films which were successful at the Box Office. She has recently appeared in the film Bhool Bhulaiya against Akshay Kumar.

Amisha Patel won the Film Fare Special Performance Award for film Gadar. She was nominated for Film Fare Best Actress Award twice for her films Gadar and Humraaz released in year 2002. In 2011, Amisha Patel founded her own production house in partnership with Kunal Goomer.
