Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Damini was released in 1993. Rishi Kapoor, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Sunny Deol, Amrish Puri, Tinu Anand and Paresh Rawal are seen in lead roles. 
The movie is about a woman who fights against the society for injustice.Meenakshi Sheshadri had played the role of damini and have acted as never before.
The movie was most popular for the Sunny Deol’s dialouge ,
” Ye dhai kilo ka haat Jab kisi ko padata hai to aadmi uthta nahi uth jata hai!!  “
This dialouge can be heard even these days. 
Music is Given by Nadeem Sharavan. 



This film beacme the sixth highest grossing of the year and was declared ” Semi Hit” at the Box Office.
