Loafer was directed by A. Bhimsingh in the year 1973.
 
The movie stars Dharmendra, Mumtaz, and Roopesh Kumar.The movie shows a cute couple with a great chemistry, none other then Dharmendra and Mumtaz. Loafer is a sweet movie dipped in mish mash of good old hindi romance, action with a side by comedy. All of these qualities were the iron which made the film the top grossing movie of the year. The movie was a super hit.
 
Songs are extraordinary  pleasant and good to listen. Music of the movie is given by Laxmikant Pyarelal. Sung  in the joyful voice of  Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi, songs were widely  appreciated by audience.
 
Some of them like,” Aaj Mausam Bada Beimaan” , ” Koi Shehri Babu ” and ” Motiyon Ki Lari”  are very popular songs and among my favorites.
