Bhavana Menon Biography | Wiki

Bhavana Menon is a popular South Indian film actress who works in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. She has won Filmfare Best Actress Award for the Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi which was released in 2006. Also Bhavana made her debut in the film industry with the Malayalam film Nammal (2002). It was a successful film and won her Kerala State Film Special Jury Award and Asianet Award for Best Supporting Actress. Such wide appreciation paved a way to her bright career.

Bhavana Menon was born in 1985 in Thissur district, Kerala. Her father G. Balachandra Joseph was a cinematographer and her mother Pushpa was a housewife. In an interview Bhavana said that she always wanted to be an actress. She dream to be an actress from the age of five. When she was a child she used to copy the actress Amala’s scenes. She was so mad for it that she was willing to jump from the roof because Amala did that scene in a film.
