Bipasha Basu Wiki | Biography

Bipasha Basu is a model and Indian film actress. She usually appears in Bollywood films but she has also worked in Bengali, Tamil and Telugu films. She made her debut in Bollywood film industry with the film Ajnabee released in 2001. In Ajnabee she played the character Sonia and her performance was greatly appreciated. She won Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for Ajnabee that paved a way to her bright Bollywood career. Later she did many successful films such as Raaz, Jism, Footpath, Viruddh, Zameen, No Entry, Barsaat, Shikaar, Dhoom 2, No Smoking etc.

Bipasha Basu was born on 7 January, 1979 in New Delhi, India. She was born to a Bengali family and studied in Apeejay School, Delhi till the age of eight.
