Hansika Motwani is an Indian actress who is popular in South and appears in Telugu and Tamil films. Hansika Motwani was into acting from her childhood days. She used to appear in the TV show Shaka Laka Boom Boom as Shoona. She then later acted in the Indian serial Des Mai Nikall Hoga Chaand. For this role she got Favorite Child Award in Star Parivaar Awards. She also appeared in the movie Koi Mil Gaya with Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.

Hansika Motwani started her film career seriously from 2007 when her first Telgu movie Desamuduru was released in which she played as a lead actress. She then appeared in many high budget films including Maska and Kantri.

Hansika Motwani was born on 9 August, 1991 in Mumbai Maharashtra. Her father Pradeep Motwani was a business man and mother Mona Motwani a dermatologist. Her brother’s name is Prashant Motwani. Hansika speaks Sindhi and follows Buddhism.
